I was... ...born and raised in Liverpool. I'm a proud Liverpudlian, you bet! I speak with a Liverpudlian accent with all its attendant overtones.

I've long since been interested in style and fashion and cite Victoria Beckham, Mischa Barton and Princess Diana as stylish and iconic. My real heroine though, is Pamela Anderson whom I admire for her strength and glamourous persona.

I'm an accomplished singer but have a keen interest in modelling right now. At the time of writing: I'm currently appearing in Britain's Next Top Model and I'm still there in the last five, so fingers crossed. Being a girly girl, I like fashion and wouldn't wish to be involved with anything I'm not in like with. I've given 100% effort in every assignment that I've been blessed enough to have been given. I haven't moaned when confronted with a new challenge but seen it as just that, a challenge - a new opportunity to learn more about the range within the modelling and fashion industry. I take it all in and I'm a pretty quick learner; by and and large, I've come through well in the show.

Although I started on Britain's Next Top Model in January 2006, which I eventually finished 2nd in overall, I've become more well-known during the last three months or so since I was officially dating a talented footballer called Peter Crouch. WAG is a term which has been coined and over-used a bit... Following a bit of controversy in June 2006 it's not been publicly known whether Peter and I were still dating... we've seen each other recently, that's all I'm prepared to divulge. Peter is a talented young footballer and I wouldn't ever wish for anything to deleteriously affect his career.

I was also a member of a small known girlband too for about three years and although we weren't that well-known, I place in a lot of hard work and it gave me a huge feel for the industry and all the hard work which is required to succeed. Having the looks and/or the talent is only half the tale. The desire to achieve and succeed as well as getting a few breaks along the way completes the mixture.

I'm genuine, bubbly, confident, fun-loving, driven... I'm being told by those around me, and not in sycophantic fashion, that I have the talent and ability to aim high and achieve my goals. Watch out for the name Abigail Clancy somewhere in the future, I've arrived. (... to be continued)
